It all started about 12 years ago.... My husband took me to an antique estate auction. I remember starting to squirm in my seat after about an hour, but I was afraid to move too much for fear that the auctioneer would think I was bidding. After about 4 hours of listening to all this Hoowah!.. and trying to sit still, we headed home...yay!...and I REALLY didn't care to return. The following Friday night we went back to the same auction house and I actually felt more comfortable this time. After about 4 or 5 visits, I got the courage to hold the number up and bid on an item that I wanted. I was SO proud of myself! That did it!... I was hooked! We went to more and more auctions.... and we purchased tons of stuff! Stuff that WE liked:-) But the house and shed out back could no longer hold all these treasures!
That's when we decided to open our little shop downtown on the square. Marnie & Mo's~ Old treasures for all! Over the last 7 years, the shop has changed to more of a ladies vintage shop. I am always searching for old treasures. We especially like traveling to Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Harrisburg, & Maine in search of items. I also enjoy searching for other people and their interests.
