About Us

Doorganics is a Grand Rapids-based, locally owned and run organic grocery company that delivers the freshest food possible from local and organic farms right to your doorstep, year-round.

We've served West Michigan since 2011, when founder Mike Hughes piloted the company as a small startup. Frustrated by the lack of local & organic food options and a lack of time to source the healthy food he craved, Mike decided to combine the convenience of big-city grocery delivery services with the bounty of West Michigan farms. After a crash course in organic food systems and a newfound appreciation for local farmers, Doorganics was born. Since then, our company has grown to a team of nearly a dozen employees. We remain committed to convenient delivery of the widest variety of healthy, organic food to your table, year-round. We focus on local but also pride ourselves on an extensive offering of certified organic produce from other growing regions in the offseason.
